According to Kevin Feige, president Marvel Studios, they are looking into Scarlett Johansson's character, Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, for a solo movie. "I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow," Feige stated. The Disney-owned studio president further explained that portrayal of Natasha Romanoff by Scarlett has been commendable. He also added that is Marvel seriously deliberating a "Black Widow" movie because her experiences as a former SHIELDS agent will make for a good story to tell.

Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) has been one of the most favored characters in Marvel cinematic universe. Debuting in "Iron Man 2," the enigmatic Natasha Romanoff reprised her in "The Avengers," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Avengers: Age of Ultron," and most recently, "Captain America: Civil War."

Joe and Anthony Russo, directors of "Captain America: Civil War," revealed in an interview why they think "Black Widow" deserves to have a solo movie. The directors added that her character is so rich and complex that it will make for a fascinating movie.

Scarlett Johansson, 31, has revealed in the past about her intention of doing a solo movie for Natasha Romanoff. "If you want to see a Black Widow spin-off movie, then I want to see it," Johansson said at the premier of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in 2014.

Scarlett Johansson fans last year presented an international flash mob campaigning for a "Black Widow" standalone movie. Fans came together in Australian, Canadian and US cities, sporting the skintight leather suit and red wig, in support of Black Widow.
